MC: Grey Blue No. 2

CC: Elm Street

*For this pattern, the MC is a one of a kind colorway. Once it is gone, it is gone.  If you plan to add additional length to the body of the sweater, it is highly recommended that when checking out from this listing, an additional skein of the MC is purchased so you do not run out of yarn (of a non repeatable dye lot).

*If you would like to play with color placement within the CC stripes of this sweater, please consider adding on an additional skein to accommodate for color play.

Ribbing Needles: US 5 / 3.75 mm

22 sts X 38 rows= 4”x4”, knit using main fabric needles, and meaured over 6 rows of broken ribbing in MC, and 2 garter stitch rows in CC.

This sweater is circularly knit from the bottom up, until it is split for the front and back sections. When working the front, the front left and front right shoulders are worked seperately and the shaping is created using short rows which are done using the wrap and turn technique, and then each are placed on holders while the back shaping is worked, again using short row shaping. The Left Front Shoulder stitches are put back onto a second pair of Main Fabric Needles, and seamed together with the cordi- nating back shoulder stitches. The same is then done for the Right Front Shoulder stitches. The under- arm stitches are seamed, and then the sleeves are worked while simultaniously working sleeve decreased, and bound off using the Tubular BO method. The Neck Ribbing is picked up and worked in 2x2 ribbing and then bound off using the Tubular BO method.

    1. Broken rib pattern is only done in the main color and is worked in either 6 rounds (worked in the round) or 6 rows (when being worked flat).
    2. 2 garter stitch rows in the CC are always worked in between the 6 rounds / rows of the MC. Broken Rib Pattern.

    3. You must use the W&T method for short row shaping on the shoulders, or they will not line up.
