"WHAT ARE THE "BATCHES" I SEE FOR YOUR HOMESTEAD YARNS?":

Each skein of our Homestead yarns is unique, which makes this yarn our most popular yarn line!  They are, each, their own beautiful work of art! We know that sometimes our customers are looking for a super specific skein of our Homestead yarns, and they want to be absolutely sure that they will be receiving the exact skein(s) they are looking for.  Within each colorway, we have created "batches", which means that we have separated all the skeins out, by appearance, so that customers can see the precise variations within that colorway and choose skeins to their liking. No notes at check out to worry about, and no need to be scared that you will not receive exactly what you want.  Our goal is to make shopping our yarns online, as easy as possible for you.

 

 "OOPS! I CHECKED OUT TOO SOON AND NEEDED TO ORDER MORE! CAN YOU COMBINE MY ORDERS?"

Hey- It happens!  But unfortunately we are unable to combine orders that are already placed, and refund any additional shipping charges....

HOWEVER: If you contact us right after placing your first order, and tell us what you need to add, we can go in and add the items to your first order, which will generate a second invoice which will be emailed to you, that you can pay in the exact same way you did for your first order.

*DISCLAIMER* Our business hours are Tuesday-Friday (10 AM-4PM) & Saturday (10AM-6PM) EST, when we are available for emails or phone calls. If you place an order during a weekend, or after business hours, we can not guarantee that the additional items you wish to purchase will still be available when we get your message.  If it is a OOAK item or Kit, the best thing to do would be to place a second order.

 

 "CAN YOU LET ME KNOW WHEN AN ITEM IS BACK IN STOCK?"

SURE CAN!  There is notification button on each listing, that you can click to be notified as soon as that product becomes available again.

BUT JUST TO BE CERTAIN YOU DON'T MISS A THING- be sure to sign up for our newsletter.  We send 1-2 newsletters out each week, and they always contain information about which bases and colorways are hitting the shop that week.

 

 "DO YOU EVER OFFER SALES OR DISCOUNTS ON YOUR YARNS AND PRODUCTS?"

With the exception of our "Studio Seconds/Mill Ends" Sale we do biannually, we very rarely offer any coupon codes or discounts for our products. We believe in being fair to all of our stockists and the hard working shops that carry our products. Maintaining a fair and reliable market value on all of our products is something we strive to keep consistent.  

When we do offer any coupon codes for in house pattern designs, or fun grab bag collabs, those can be found exclusively in our newsletter.  They are not announced or offered through social media, and are reserved for our newsletter subscribers, only.  So be sure and sign up!

 

 "HOW DO I RETURN MY ORDER?"

We have a 30 day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. Yarn can not have been caked, or used.  If you have included in your order that you wish to have your yarn wound before we ship it out, it will not be eligible for a return. Items that are no longer in skein form, are not eligible for returns.


To start a return, you can contact us at contact@primroseyarnco.com. Once we have received your return request, we will ask that you send your package back to us.  Once the item is received, we will issue a refund for the full amount of the items only.  Original shipping costs and return shipping costs are not eligible for a refund. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We do not have the ability to accept returns or make any exchanges for yarn purchased from Local Yarn Shops.  Those must be handled directly through the original yarn shop where the purchase was made.

Certain types of items cannot be returned. We do not accept returns on sale items, Studio Seconds, or Mill Ends.

"I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE.  IS THIS POSSIBLE?"


We do not have the ability to make an exchange. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

 SHIPPING & COSTS:

We ship within 1-3 business days of receiving your order for all “ready to ship" items. If the item is listed as a Pre-Order, you can expect your order to ship within 2-4 weeks after purchase.

We ship all domestic and international orders through the USPS, UPS, or FedEx. You will be given various shipping options for your order when you check out and you can choose the option that works best for you. All rates are based on order weight. 

*All domestic orders totaling at least $125 are eligible for free shipping- just use code FREESHIP125 when checking out.*

If you order yarn from outside of the United States, you are responsible for paying your country's duties. Deliveries that are returned for refusal to pay duties are not eligible for a refund.

 

 "HELP!  MY PACKAGE SAYS IT WAS DELIVERED, BUT I NEVER RECEIVED IT!"

If you feel that your package has been lost in transit, please let your local post office know, and have them open an investigation into the location of the package. Once your package leaves our facility, we have no more information, nor the ability to gather any more information, than you do. We will help in any investigation opened through the post office as best we can, but cannot guarantee any outcome.

We currently accept Paypal and most major credit cards for payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order, and will issue a refund if we do so.
