This pattern was inspired by the tiny little knitting space, I have designated as my "work corner", in our upstairs family room.  It is my most cherished place in the entire house.  It is the place I can retreat to and find my creative outlet, while I sit, watching my two beautiful babies grow and become everything I hope they can be.  It is a place that defines all of my hard work, it has witnessed some of the most challenging parts of my life, and some of the best, and it is the place (in my house) where I truly feel "at home", and my creativity will never stop growing.  I call our house "the farmhouse";....this cardigan is truly an expression of how I live and experience my life.  I hope you find your own little piece of "home" when you knit it, and may it wrap you in the warmth and the many memories you make in your own little "creative corner" in your own home.
